Mitchell Silver

Mitchell is a special advisor with McAdams. He provides advisory services in urban planning, parks and placemaking. He is an award-winning planner with over 40 years of experience and is internationally recognized for his leadership and contributions to contemporary planning issues. Before joining McAdams, Mitchell served as the New York City Parks Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer in Raleigh, NC, and president of the American Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Planners. Mitchell is one of the nation’s most celebrated urban thinkers. He was selected to Planetizen’s list of the 100 Most Influential Urbanists in the world and by UBM Future Cities as one of the top 100 City Innovators in the world.

Veronica O. Davis

Veronica O. Davis, PE is a self-described transportation nerd and author of Inclusive Transportation: A Manifesto for Repairing Divided Communities. She is currently the Director of Cities Program for AtkinsRéalis. She has over twenty years of experience in civil engineering and planning. Under the Mayor Turner Administration, she was the Director of Transportation & Drainage Operations for the City of Houston.

Daniel Gibson

For two decades, Daniel has showcased a dedicated reputation for addressing social issues systemically, collaborating with underrepresented communities, and engaging with local and national decision-makers. His career spans from LGBT rights, justice reform, affordable housing, healthcare for the homeless, climate justice, and HIV/AIDS prevention. Daniel is a Robert Wood Johnson Culture of Health Fellow and alum of both Yale and Barry Universities.

Dee Leggett

Dee Leggett, a nationally recognized transit leader, has over 25 years of experience in the planning, development, and operation of public transportation projects. As DART’s Chief Development Officer, Dee directs the Development Department which includes Capital Planning, Service Planning &Scheduling, Engineering & Construction, Real Estate & Economic Development, and Capital Program Support. She currently oversees a $4.5B capital program.

Scott Smith

Former Mayor of Mesa, AZ &
Former CEO of Valley Metro

Scott Smith was twice elected Mayor of Mesa, AZ, a city of over 500,000 residents. While mayor, he served as President of the US Conference of Mayors, and as Chairman of the Maricopa Regional Assn of Governments and its Transportation Policy Committee. After leaving office, he was a Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, and was CEO of Valley Metro, the Regional Public Transportation Authority.

Chris Bruntlett

International Relations Manager

Chris is International Relations Manager at the Dutch Cycling Embassy, a public-private partnership that represents the best knowledge and expertise from the Netherlands. As a campaigner in Vancouver, he fell in love with Dutch bike culture in 2016, inspiring him to author the book, “Building the Cycling City”. Chris uses his passion to share lessons for cities wishing to follow their footsteps, and become better places to live, work and cycle.

Melissa Bruntlett

Melissa Bruntlett is a sustainable mobility consultant with 10+ years experience in equitable engagement and communications. She helps partners understand how a sustainable and just mobility transition starts from a place of empathy and recognizes the varied needs of people. Melissa has co-authored two books, Building the Cycling City and Curbing Traffic, and is writing a third book on women leadership in sustainable urban transformations.

He has more than 45 years of experience helping create livable communities and in 2014 the White House Honored Dan as a champion of change in transportation.

Viktoriya Wise

Viktoriya Wise is the Director of Streets for the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA).The 2,000+ employees she oversees are responsible for improvements to San Francisco’s street, transit, bicycle, pedestrian and parking infrastructure. Ms. Wise believes deeply in the Street’s Division’s mission to create safe streets, support economic vitality and increase equity through the delivery of projects and services.

Kelly Jin

Kelly Jin is Chief of Staff to the President & CEO and VP for Communities at Knight Foundation, overseeing 15 staff across eight offices and managing a $200M grant portfolio. Previously, she was New York City’s Chief Analytics Officer. She also served in the Obama White House, advising the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Scientist on local technology and data strategy. Kelly holds an economics degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
