Remembering Fred Pinto
The TPA is saddened by the loss of the Mayor of Royal Palm Beach and TPA Governing Board member, Fred Pinto, who passed away on September 14. As a member of the Board for nearly eight years, he was an important part of helping the TPA advance its mission and vision of a safe, efficient, and connected multimodal transportation system within Palm Beach County. We appreciate his many contributions to furthering transportation access for everyone, including serving as Chair of the Board from October 2020 – November 2021, advocating for transit and participating in regional transportation discussions across South Florida.
