Lake Worth Middle School Walk Audit
The TPA hosted a Walk Bike Audit at Lake Worth Middle School to see what a walk to school looks like for students. A student-led walk showed what improvements should be considered to make getting to school safer. We recorded issues at crosswalks, including signal timing, non-compliant ADA curbs, too small of curbs, among other issues. Thank you to school leadership, the School District of Palm Beach County, FDOT, Palm Beach County, City of Lake Worth Beach and Safe Kids Palm Beach County for participating!
