2023 Safe Streets Summit 10-Year Anniversary!

The Safe Streets Summit is South Florida’s premier complete streets event focused on promoting and creating healthier, safer, and more vibrant communities by encouraging and building the necessary skills to implement Complete Streets throughout the South Florida region. The Summit is a collaborative effort between the Miami-Dade TPO, the Broward MPO, and the Palm Beach TPA rotating from county to county; the 2020 Summit was hosted in Broward, 2021 in Palm Beach, and 2022 in Miami-Dade.

As part the 2023 Safe Streets Summit, there will be multiple interactive tours conducted through the Mobile offered Workshop event on February 23, 2023. The goal of the Mobile Workshop is to provide participants with an opportunity to experience first-hand the type of infrastructure that has been built in Broward to create safer and more multi-modal streets. Each tour will highlight different parts of Broward emphasizing current and planned transportation and built environment efforts, walkability, bikeability, micromobility, economic development, livability, and access to transportation options. Local experts and community representatives will provide insight and relevant information about a variety of projects and current efforts, focusing on results/outcomes and lessons learned. Each of the Mobile Workshop tour will start and conclude at the Hollywood Diplomat Hotel A networking event will occur after the Mobile Workshop. Comfortable attire and shoes are highly recommended for all mobile workshop participants.

Conference registrants are limited to 1 mobile workshop tour as these occur simultaneously. You can register for the conference and mobile workshop here. Additional registration and fee is required and there is limited capacity.
